What’s the one thing you have come to appreciate most in the past year? How do you express gratitude for it?
Beauty.
God created the earth. And He made it beautiful. I’ve really grown in appreciation for beauty in the last year. Just today I was walking down Scotland Road on my way home. It was clear enough that I could see the Pennines off in the distance. Nothing can compare to a view of the mountains. They are incredibly beautiful.

I also enjoy a good sunset and have a greater appreciation for them now that I’ve seen the sun set over the Pacific Ocean while we were on our honeymoon in California as well as over the Firth of Forth when we were in Scotland.
